FAQs
How much is it to book PILV?
To book PILV we require a $150 or 50% non-refundable retainer. Retainers are transferable depending on our availability.
When is final payment due?
Final payment is due 2 weeks before your event. Late bookings within the 2 week time frame are subject to additional fees and must be paid in full at time of booking.
Do I need to sign a service agreement?
Yes, a service agreement must be signed before you are officially added to our calendar. The service agreement protects both parties.
Will the weather affect my booking?
Possibly, since adverse weather conditions can occur, we recommend having a plan B for all events, especially outdoor events. Bounce House bookings have more weather restrictions.
Do you have a minimum delivery amount?
Yes, the minimum to deliver is $300.
Do you have delivery and installation fees?
Yes, delivery is based on proximity to 18018, starting at $20.
Installation and breakdown fees are included in all quotes that require setup and pickup of rental items.
What happens if I damage the rental item(s)?
Please refer to your signed service agreement for process to handle damaged rental items.
My party is outdoors, will my balloons be shiny?
When balloons are outside in the heat they oxidize and become matte. Some clients prefer the matte look, however if you would like your balloons to be shiny that can be accommodated. An additional fee will apply for balloons to be shined.
Can my balloons and rental items be set up in direct sunlight?
It is not recommended to set up any event items in direct sunlight. Balloons are more likely to pop and rental items are more likely to have sun/heat damage if exposed for too long. Once PILV leaves the set up we are not responsible for balloons popping due to direct sun exposure. Also, based on your service agreement, you will be financially responsible for any damages to rental items.
Can I rent items from PILV if another balloon artist does my event?
Yes! PILV has great working relationships with several local balloon artists. We are about community over competition. The goal is to make your event a memorable one!
